Aftermarket Products
In their day the automobiles we sell were the finest cars produced. For that matter many of them exceed the quality of cars built today in a large part due to the increasing costs of manufacturing. Most of the cars we sell came from an era when cars were built to a standard rather than a price. Many technologies have improved over the years and are available to use as replacement parts for the fine cars we offer to our customers. We have gone to great lengths and invested many hours of research to offer you leading edge technologies on the cars we sell. If you are aware of a technology that we could offer on the cars we sell that we are not currently using please let us know. We do our best to stay on the leading edge of products that are available for our cars however we by no means know everything. Listed below is further information on some of the products we use. We have chosen many of these products for the improved safety and performance that they offer. Unfortunately the manufacturers do not necessarily make items for all the cars we sell. In these cases we substitute what we believe to be the next best choice. When available we offer links at the end of each short description to the appropriate area of the manufacture's web site.
Magnecor Ignition Wires Magnecor Race Wires are used on many serious race engines, such as current engines used in the USA in NASCAR, Winston Cup, Grand National and Super Truck series, SCCA (including successful factory vehicles and other series winners), IMSA, NHRA etc. Magnecor Race Wires are also used on many race engines competing worldwide; Australians would be interested to know most successful Touring Cars, including most cars running at Bathurst, use Magnecor Race Wires. Magnecor Race Wires have been successfully run on many 5,000+HP Top Fuel engines. However, unlike all other performance wires, Magnecor Race Wires can be used to improve ANY street engine ignition performance — because they provide EMI suppression!
Magnecor Race Wires provide effective and PERMANENT EMI SUPPRESSION. More about Magnecor Ignition Race Wires
NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs and NGK Oxygen Sensors NGK is the World Leader in spark plugs. Rolls-Royce, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lotus, Jaguar, Aston-Martin are but a few of the cars that are factory equipped with NGK plugs.
We use NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
NGK oxygen sensors are standard OEM parts on over 95% of the cars sold today. Even Bosch uses NGK oxygen sensor parts when manufacturing their oxygen sensors. Oxygen sensors should be replaced at least every 5-7 years. They are the source of many undiagnosed or misdiagnosed engine problems. A computer engine analyzer is only as good as its operator. If the technician is not checking the engine through the entire RPM range a defective oxygen sensor may not be noticed. It could work fine at 2500 RPM be defective at 2800 RPM and be working fine again at 3500 RPM robbing you of performance, fuel economy, etc. More about NGK Iridium Spark Plugs and Oxygen Sensors

Johnson Control Batteries We check every battery in every car. If it does not test well we replace it. Quite often the cars we purchase still have the original batteries in them so new ones are put in. We replace batteries with specifications that at least meet original manufacturers specifications though we are usually able to replace the battery with better specifications than original. We believe a little background in battery brands is necessary to alleviate any concerns that an original factory battery from the dealer is a better battery than we install. Johnson Controls is the world’s largest manufacturer of lead-acid automotive batteries, with the leading market share in North America and Europe. In the U.S., Johnson Controls supplies original equipment batteries to DaimlerChrysler, Ford, Honda, Nissan and Toyota. In Europe, the company manufactures original equipment automotive batteries for BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Ford, PSA, Volkswagen and other automakers. The company supplies private-label aftermarket batteries for Advance Auto, AutoZone, Costco, Interstate Battery System of America, Pep Boys, Sears, Wal-Mart and others. It is a major supplier to the European independent aftermarket, including customers such as Robert Bosch GmbH, hypermarkets such as Carrefour, and wholesalers. Johnson Controls also manufactures the Optima spiral-wound automotive battery, available worldwide. This means that when putting in a Bosch Dealer purchased battery in a Porsche 928 you are putting in a battery made by Johnson Controls. They just put a Bosch label on it. We all know the outrageous mark-up new car dealers put on parts. When it comes to batteries it is not necessary to pay the high price just to get e different label when the insides are the same. We currently use Johnson Control manufactured batteries through the following Distributor: Battery Direct
