At Dwaycar Imports we specialize in Showroom Condition, Barrett-Jackson Quality German Automobiles. Unfortunately this 928S4 is not one of them, if it was we would be asking $30,000.00 Canadian for it. As you can see from our logo we definitely have a passion for Porsche 928's. During shipping from Japan to Canada the paint on the front bumper was rubbed and chipped. We touched it up however upon close inspection it is visible. It easily passes the 6 foot looks great inspection. Please see "Things to Note" at the bottom of this page for details and pictures.
Some of the close up pictures can give the impression that the paint is marred with little tiny chips; this is not the case, it is the metal flake in the paint and a few dust particles. Overall this 928S4 is in very good condition. Please look at the pictures in the left column as a picture is worth a thousand words. This car is truly a head turner and the paint shines like a mirror. It mileage is exceptionally low. It drives wonderfully and we took it on a spin up to 200 km/h and it was still pulling hard. It tracks straight does not pull to one side when braking and does not exhibit any noises, squeals, squeaks or vibrations. There are no leaks and no rips in the leather seats. The tool kit is complete. The car is fully drivable and I would not hesitate to take it on a long trip. If you like to have piece of mind that everything is in perfect condition I would expect you may spend some money, this is why we have adjusted the pricing appropriately. Other than the 2 items mentioned below under "Things to Note"; the interior is in very good condition. Porsche recommends changing the timing belt at 96,560 kilometers or 60,000 miles so you still have almost 30,000 kilometers to go. For those concerned there is a timing belt tensioner warning light which does not come on. You can always have the belt looked at if you are concerned. A quick look may determine it has already been changed. This is a non-smoker car. Note that the Dunlop SP Sport 9000 tires are almost brand new with 82% tread remaining. This is a Euro Version 928S4. It is an early production 1990. It does not have any airbags. Its color is " Satin Black" which is unique in that the 928S4 in 1990 did not come in this color. "Satin Black" is a 1989 color. Satin Black is like a "Black Metal Flake" having little silver specks in the paint, very nice exhibiting unique color reflections. Notice the sleek euro rear bumper without the North American rubber bumper nodules.
Rare Options It has the Nakamichi Cassette Stereo with 10 CD Changer with Nakamichi Amp-Exclusive for the 928S4. Another unique feature is driver adjustable "Horizontal Head-Light Aiming" located beside the hatch release. Another rare option is the 12-way power seats on the driver and passenger side. The rare part is the 4-way power lumbar on both front seats! I am a current Porsche Club of America member.
